Our Lepton Heights care home is currently being refurbished in Fenay Bridge, West Yorkshire.

Development of the new complex needs care home in Huddersfield started in March 2024 by contractor Walter Thompson. The new care home, located on Wakefield Road, will open in early 2025.

When open, the home will support adults living with complex and high acuity needs arising from complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

Healthcare jobs in Huddersfield

The opening of Lepton Heights will generate around 100 new healthcare jobs in the local area.

Later in 2024, we'll be recruiting for a range of jobs in the healthcare sector in Huddersfield, including Health Care Assistants, Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

About Lepton Heights

Lepton Heights will provide a supportive environment. People will get the nursing care they need, and be able to stay closer to their loved ones.

Lepton Heights will have 41 large bedrooms and two apartments, each with an en-suite, across four units. With this small group living, we’ve found we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to people’s needs.

The home will also have communal dining and living spaces, sensory bathrooms, an activities hub, a therapy room and a large accessible garden.
