Exemplar Health Care is a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs. We already have over 50 care homes across England and have plans to double in size over the next five years. Our Developments Team is looking for land.

We have over 25 years of experience supporting people with a wide range of complex needs including those living with neuro-disabilities, complex mental health needs and physical disabilities.

What are we looking for? 

We’re currently seeking potential development sites, with or without planning consent, across the UK.

• Typically, we construct 30 to 40 bedroom care homes (GIFAs 2200m2 to 3000m2).
• Sites can range from 0.9 to 2 acres in size.
• Located in urban areas and close to transport links.
• Our homes are a good employment generator – we’ll employ over 100 people which is a key planning benefit.
• We have secured funding in place so we have the ability to act quickly and meet tight timeframes and deadlines.
• Most acquisitions will be on a subject to planning basis. However, we’ll consider unconditional offers where there is low planning risk.
• We’ll consider refurbishment opportunities where floor area requirements can be met.
• We’ll consider being part of large mixed use/regeneration sites.
• We have a flexible approach to land acquisition including the ability to enter into joint ventures with land owners via hybrid planning applications.
