Exemplar Health Care achieves third CPD certification for People Management Skills programme

Exemplar Health Care’s People Management Skills programme has been certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to continuing professional development principles. This is the third of the company’s in-house training programmes to achieve the accreditation.
At Exemplar Health Care, our aim is to make every day better for all of people, including our colleagues.
One of the ways that we do this is by supporting our colleagues to develop and progress in their career.
We offer a range of in-house and external learning and development opportunities, which support colleagues at all levels and in all roles to develop and progress in their career. This ensures that they have the competence and confidence to deliver the highest standards of care for our residents.
The People Management Skills programme is for existing and new colleagues moving into a management or supervisory role. It supports learners to identify and refine their leadership style, develop their emotional intelligence and acquire the skills to bring out the best in people.
We’re proud to announce that, following a rigorous accreditation process, the programme has been given the sought-after certification by the CPD Certification Service.
This is the third of the company’s in-house training programmes to achieve the accreditation, alongside the ABC of Caring and Leadership and Management Programme which both achieved accreditation in 2020.

The programme is for both existing and new colleagues moving into a management or supervisory role.

- Effective Performance Development Reviews
- How to have difficult conversations
- Effective performance management
- Managing attendance
- Grievances and disciplinary matters
- Successful engagement and retention
