Exemplar Health Care’s Leadership and Management training programme achieves CPD certification

Exemplar Health Care’s Leadership and Management training programme has been certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to continuing professional development principles.

We’re proud of the learning culture that we’ve developed at Exemplar Health Care. We offer a range of in-house and external learning and development opportunities, which support colleagues at all levels and in all roles to develop and progress in their career, and ensure that they have the competence and confidence to deliver the highest standards of care for our residents.

The Leadership and Management Programme is one of the development opportunities that’s available to Home Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers and Unit Managers.

We’re proud to announce that, following a rigorous accreditation process, the programme has been given the sought-after certification by the CPD Certification Service.

About the Leadership and Management Programme

The Leadership and Management Programme teaches colleagues the skills and knowledge needed to run a successful business, including how to adapt your leadership style to meet the needs of your colleagues, building an effective team and budgeting skills.

The programme has nine modules, delivered over nine days, which include:

• Leadership v Management
• Introduction to emotional intelligence
• Communication skills
• How to build an effective team
• Manager as coach
• Finance for managers
• Building personal resilience
• Time management and delegation
• Service improvement methodology.
