Progress at our new home in Leeds, Copperfields

With work on Exemplar Health Care’s new Leeds home progressing well, we are pleased to confirm that Copperfields will open to service users in September 2019.
In March, we saw the roof go up, with second-floor dormer rooms taking shape. After roof tiling, the electrics are now going in and internal plastering on track to start later this month.
Located in Cross Green, East Leeds, Copperfields will provide specialist nursing care for 30 adults living with mental health conditions and complex and, late stage dementia. A multi-disciplinary team will work with consultants, GP’s, health professionals and mental health teams to support people living in West Yorkshire to lead safe and fulfilling lives within their community.
Find out more on 5 June 2019, when Exemplar Health Care’s Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Ben Akande, Head of Behavioural Support and Mental Health, Mark Henry and a speaker from Leeds Beckett University will host a CPD-accredited event for health and social care professionals on innovative approaches to the challenging behaviours associated with complex dementia.
