Wykewood care home in Wyke, Bradford, celebrated its first year anniversary last week. The care home opened in June 2021, and is now home to 19 residents and employer to 74 incredible colleagues.
Wykewood opened its doors in June 2021 following its successful registration with CQC. The home provides support for adults living with dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities.
Since opening, the home has provided a welcoming and supportive home for 19 residents who benefit from the in-house team of Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Life Skills Coordinators and Physiotherapist.
Colleagues who’ve worked at the home since day one were given thank you gifts to mark the anniversary.
They enjoyed refreshments and a beautiful cake baked by the home’s Chef.
Exemplar Health Care’s Managing Director, Selina Wall, joined colleagues to thank them for their commitment throughout the first year.
Kim Payne, Home Manager, said: “We had a lovely afternoon celebrating our first birthday party. This was a great opportunity to thank the team for their hard work during our first year of being open.”
