Thames House residents enjoy adventure weekend away to Calvert Lakes

Thames House residents, Claire and Jacqueline, have enjoyed a weekend trip to Calvert Lakes, a residential outdoor adventure holiday centre for people with disabilities.

They were supported by colleagues Gabby, Tracey and Wendy.

Residential breaks at Calvert Lakes give people the chance to experience the Lake District in a safe and supportive way, whilst having fun and experiencing new adventures and challenges.

Over the weekend, the team took part in lots of exciting activities including canoeing and bike riding, and even took on the zip wire.

The residential break also brought the chance to enjoy some wonderful summer sunshine as the group enjoyed walking in the forest and taking some much needed time to relax together in the evening.

Claire and Jacqueline both expressed how much they “absolutely loved the weekend”.
