We're thrilled to announce that Greenside Court care home has achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Care Quality Commission (CQC), placing it in the top five percent of all nursing homes in England.
The Rotherham-based Greenside Court received the top rating for its ‘exceptionally’ caring, responsive and well-led service.
Out of 4,373 nursing care homes in England, only 209 have received an Outstanding CQC rating.
“People were treated with the utmost respect and their dignity was continually upheld. This was confirmed by people and their relatives who provided exceptional feedback,” according to the CQC’s report.
The CQC report added that staff were “highly skilled and attuned to people's needs and demonstrated their passion and drive towards ensuring people reached their potential.”
Kim Payne, Greenside Court’s Home Manager, said: “Over the years, our care team have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to offering high-quality care for service users and it’s fantastic that they were able to demonstrate this during the inspection.
“We are now looking forward to celebrating this amazing achievement together. I could not be more proud of each and every colleague who works here.”
Rachel Calladine, Senior Director of Operations at Exemplar Health Care, said: “We are beyond proud of our Home Manager, staff team and service users at Greenside Court for being recognised by CQC as “Outstanding”.
“This care home, without a doubt, goes above and beyond to make every day better for our service users.
"The whole team are an inspiration and deserve the recognition they have received. They’re an absolute credit to our Exemplar Health Care family.”
The CQC, a public body of the UK Department of Health and Social Care, awards ratings on a four-point scale: Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, or Inadequate.
