Residents, staff and family members at Brook View care home in Liverpool came together to fundraise for the Huntington's Disease Association.
The care home organised a six-hour relay, where people took turns to keep the treadmill moving continuously.
The event started in the morning at 10.00, with colleagues walking the first stretch of the relay.
Janet Tosini, a resident at Brook View, then took over to join the team in their walk.
Throughout the day, both colleagues and family members joined in, coming together for a great cause until their relay finished six hours later at 16.00.
After donations were collected and counted up, the event raised over £750 for the charity, which was above and beyond their expectations and fundraising goals.
Ruth, Life Skills Co-ordinator at Brook View, shared:
"We had great fun raising funds for such an important cause. It was amazing to see everyone come together to complete our relay and donate to our fundraiser!”
