Pine Unit - male-only
Pine Unit is a male-only environment for adults living with complex mental health needs who present with behaviours of concern and/or have a forensic background.
With 24/7 support from a Registered Mental Health Nurse, the team provides structured, evidence-based behavioural support.
This includes functional behaviour assessments, personalised support plans, proactive strategies, skill development, and safe reactive strategies - all underpinned by our Exemplar Positive Behaviour Support approach.
We provide enhanced staffing and tailored observation levels, including 1:1 or 2:1 support where needed.
Over time, people often experience a reduction in behaviours and observation levels as they settle into a consistent, person-centred environment.
For those with progressive conditions, we ensure continuity of care within a familiar setting as needs change.
Willow Unit - female-only

Maple Unit
Maple Unit supports adults living with ongoing, complex physical health needs linked to chronic conditions, neurological conditions, and physical disabilities.
With 24/7 input from Registered General Nurses, we’re able to meet a range of co-occurring needs including dysphagia, incontinence, reduced mobility or paralysis, obesity, respiratory complications, and pressure ulcers.
Many people also have a secondary mental health diagnosis and/or display behaviours of concern, requiring a joined-up, holistic approach that meets both physical and emotional needs.
People have often spent extended time in hospital settings due a lack of local care provision - this care enables them to get the right support, in a, community-based home closer to loved ones.
Sycamore Unit
Sycamore Unit supports older working-age adults living with complex mental health needs, who display behaviours of concern that other mainstream providers struggle to support.
Our care focuses on supporting people to manage these needs – rather than responding to acute symptoms.
Some individuals may also have a forensic background and co-occurring physical health needs.
Led by a Registered Mental Health Nurse, the team includes both Mental Health and General Nurses - enabling holistic care that goes beyond traditional mental health settings.
People often transfer to Sycamore following a hospital stay or after a previous placement has broken down.
It’s an active and sociable environment focused on building life skills, engaging with the community, and building meaningful routines.
