Works starts on our new complex needs care home in Walsall, West Midlands

Construction has begun on our new £4 million complex needs care home in Walsall, West Midlands, opening in early 2023.

Located on Brownhills Road, ‘Shire Oaks Court’ will provide specialist nursing care for 30 residents and will generate over 150 new jobs for those in the surrounding area.

Set to open in early 2023, the new home will have 30 large bedrooms - each with an en-suite wet room - will provide ground floor living for adults living with dementia, acquired brain injury, complex mental health conditions and physical disabilities.

The home will be equipped top-to-bottom to meet the needs of its new residents and the building will feature high quality, spacious communal spaces, sensory and therapy rooms and landscaped gardens, for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Midlands-based Deeley Construction has been appointed to develop the building located on Brownhill Road.

Stable and secure jobs for local residents

Shire Oaks Court will create over 150 stable, secure, full-time and part-time jobs for local residents.

The home will begin recruiting Winter 2022 for Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administrators, Kitchen and Domestic Team members, and other support staff.
