Graham Rich
Chair of Exemplar Health Care
Dr Graham Rich is the Chair of Exemplar Health Care and chairs the Board of Directors which oversees the company’s quality and performance. He works closely with Steve Melton, the Chief Executive, to support the senior leadership team to make every day better for our residents and colleagues.
Graham started working with Exemplar Health Care in March 2021, and brings with him significant healthcare experience across primary, community and hospital based settings.
His previous roles include Chief Executive of University Hospitals Bristol NHS FT, Chief Executive of West Hull Primary Care Trust, and Director of Commissioning and Primary Care for Newcastle and North Tyneside. He has extensive experience of serving on healthcare boards including the previously FTSE listed Cambian Group, and AIM listed Allocate Software. He also chairs other businesses which provide software, technology enabled care and temporary facilities for the healthcare sector.
Since joining Exemplar Health Care, Graham has enjoyed learning about the excellent care that the company provides, and has been focussed on how to improve care further, as well as ensuring that more people can benefit.
Graham works closely with Steve Melton and the senior leadership team on strategy, quality management and business excellence.
