Company welcome induction
You'll start with a welcome induction to learn more about the company and our values.
You'll also complete mandatory and statutory training which includes learning about cyber security, equality and diversity, first aid, health and safety, the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding.
For care and nursing colleagues, our induction includes Exemplar Positive Behaviour Support (EPBS) training which has been certificated by Bild ACT.
Role-specific induction
Following the company welcome induction, you’ll have a role-specific induction in your home.
You'll be supported by a buddy, so there'll always be someone by your side.
For Registered Nurses, your induction includes three weeks supernumerary time.
Support from a buddy
During your induction, you'll be paired with a buddy who'll guide you every step of the way.
This experienced mentor will help you navigate your new role and workplace, and answer any questions you might have.
Together, you'll build confidence and establish a strong foundation for your role.
Care Certificate
If you're new to care, you'll complete the Care Certificate during your induction.
This certificate outlines the essential standards for the behaviours, knowledge and skills expected of health and social care workers.
Nurse induction with supernumerary time
When you join us as a Registered Nurse, you'll have a bespoke Nurse induction with support from a buddy or mentor.
This covers all aspects of your role and includes 3 weeks of supernumerary time.
Preceptorship for newly qualified Nurses and Nurse Associates
When you join us as a newly qualified Nurse or Nurse Associate, you'll participate in our preceptorship program, designed to provide the best start to your nursing career.
