Our Lakeview care home in Leigh, a town near Wigan, celebrated its first anniversary with a party.
Service users, family, neighbours and our team enjoyed a barbecue and saw a singer perform.
Adding to the fun was a cake stall, a plant stall, and a mini petting zoo.
Afterwards, the home’s team said the first anniversary party was an opportunity to bring the local community together.
“To see service users, staff and families all enjoying an event like this together, as one big community, was the highlight of the day,” said James Redford, a Skills Development Facilitator at Lakeview.
“Everyone was having genuine fun and celebrating the work we do here.”
