Our Copperfields home in Cross Green, Leeds, marked its first anniversary this week with cakes, food and gifts!
At a socially-distanced party held at the home, colleagues who have been working at the home since it first opened were awarded with gifts, including bracelets and watches.
Copperfields is a welcoming home for 26 residents
Sharon Burton, Copperfields’ Commissioning Home Director, said:
“I cannot believe a full year has passed but what an amazing year it’s been. Copperfields is now a welcoming home for 26 service users and a great place to work for 120 colleagues.
“Despite all the challenges of the pandemic, the community has kept us strong and Copperfields has kept everyone safe and continues to smile and have fun each and every day,”

Copperfields opened in summer 2019, and is currently home to 26 residents with complex needs.
In October 2019, the home was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Eileen Taylor.
About Copperfields
Located in Cross Green, East Leeds, Copperfields was bespoke-built from the ground up by Exemplar Health Care.
The home supports adults who live with complex conditions, including dementia, physical disabilities, brain injury and stroke rehabilitation, and mental health conditions.
Looking out onto open views of the local park, the home has 30 large, airy bedrooms, each with an en-suite wet room. Each of the three floors has a dining and communal living area.
