We’re opening a new mental health unit at Edgewater care home in Wallasey, and we’re looking for people to grow our team.
The new unit ‘Royal Daffodil’ supports adults living with complex mental health needs who may also have secondary diagnoses, complexities and risks such as behaviours of concern.
To enable the opening of the new unit, we’re looking for up to 30 Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the culture and contributing to the success of the new unit.

"We’re delighted to open a new adult mental health unit at Edgewater.
“As the home is growing, we’re ready to welcome individuals to join our team.
“We’re looking for people passionate about making a positive impact to the lives of others. People who are committed to providing outstanding care, and who share our values of integrity, responsiveness, teamwork, success and fun!"
“By joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes people’s holistic health and well-being.
“New joiners will be supported through a bespoke induction and training programme and given the time to bond as a team. And all colleagues will be encouraged to continue to learn and develop through our career pathways.
“For Health Care Assistants, we offer a wide range of apprenticeships and training programmes, including our in-house ABC of Caring programme.
“Registered Nurses can access clinical skills training, leadership and management courses, and get free access to the RCNi Learning Platform and Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures.
“There are lots of opportunities to progress, if you wish, with many of Exemplar Health Care’s Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers and Home Managers having started as Registered Nurses and newly qualified Nurses with us.
“This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team, work in a state-of-the-art clinical environment, and make a profound impact to the lives of people in our local community.”
