Kerry Hill, Commissioning Home Director at Blackmoor said, "I’m thrilled to celebrate six months of Blackmoor being officially open, it’s a beautiful building which is now a welcoming home for residents and a great place to work for 60 colleagues.
“Despite all the challenges of the pandemic, the community has kept us strong and Blackmoor has kept everyone safe and continues to smile and have fun every day.” Kerry added.
“My favourite part of the job is working directly with our service users and supporting them to live as fulfilled lives as possible”.

Blackmoor is a specialist care service that supports people living with complex and high acuity needs.
The service has three ten-bed units, across three floors, which support 30 adults living with complex mental health needs, acquired brain injury and complex dementia.
We support people on their journey from being in hospital or living in a secure setting to community-based living, as well as offering longer term support for people living with degenerative or life-limiting illnesses.
We have over 35 homes across Yorkshire, the Midlands, North East and North West that provide a welcoming and supportive environment where people can feel at home, continue to do the things that they enjoy and remain closer to family, friends and loved ones.
