As an Administrator at Edgewater care home, Charlie’s role focuses on administration for the home, but her favourite part is that she has time throughout her day to interact with everyone.

Working at Edgewater is all about the people, and it’s the people I love the most.

Whenever someone visits the home, they always say they get a positive feeling. It's very homely and welcoming and that’s down to our colleagues.

I have my daily responsibilities, but I also have time to interact with the people we support and get involved in the activities.

We’re actively encouraged to get away from our desks and join in!

We’ve built such a lovely environment and to get to be a part of that community is the best part of my role.

We’re all working towards the same goal, which is to improve the lives of the individuals we support.

I used to have a job and now I've got a career.

It's a brilliant feeling to know I can go anywhere within the company with the backing and support to achieve my career goals.
