You’ll have the chance to shape the culture of a brand new team, in a state of the art, purpose built home designed with the people we support in mind.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About Exemplar Health Care&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;Springfield Vale is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country’s leading nursing care providers for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When open, Springfield Vale will provide nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from dementia.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As well as stable and secure employment opportunities, we offer great benefits and perks, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and progress.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Be part of the future in care home design&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is an incredibly exciting time to join us and be a part of a ‘first’ for Exemplar Health Care.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We’ve partnered with Sterling University to design Springfield Vale as a purpose-built home, that follows their principles of dementia design, creating an environment that supports the cognitive and physical needs of people with dementia.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once open, you’ll work towards achieving Sterling Universities accreditation and making Springfield Vale a leading home for complex dementia care.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About the role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;As a Domestic Assistant you will ensure our home maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to help create a comfortable living space for the people we support.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;carrying out all daily and weekly &lt;strong&gt;cleaning routines&lt;/strong&gt;, as well as ad-hoc duties&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;cleaning and tidying &lt;strong&gt;designated areas&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;around the home including&amp;nbsp;bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;cleaning duties including&lt;strong&gt; dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;using &lt;strong&gt;equipment&lt;/strong&gt; such as carpet cleaning machines&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;supporting with &lt;strong&gt;washing and drying laundry&lt;/strong&gt;, as required&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;reporting&lt;strong&gt; breakages&lt;/strong&gt;, damage, defects and hazards&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;building&amp;nbsp;trust and promoting&lt;strong&gt; choice, dignity and independence&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;You’ll put our people at the heart of everything you do – whether that’s hoovering our residents’ bedrooms or polishing their photo frames.
