When cooking, your responsibilities will include:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;preparing, &lt;strong&gt;cooking &lt;/strong&gt;and serving food&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;understanding people’s needs, likes and choices to &lt;strong&gt;develop suitable menus&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;interacting with the people we support to get &lt;strong&gt;feedback&lt;/strong&gt; on meals&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;complying with &lt;strong&gt;food hygiene&lt;/strong&gt; standards&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;completing relevant &lt;strong&gt;checks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;and maintaining records&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;being a great &lt;strong&gt;team player&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;When it comes to housekeeping, you’ll be responsible for:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;carrying out all daily and weekly &lt;strong&gt;cleaning routines&lt;/strong&gt;, as well as ad-hoc duties&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;cleaning and tidying &lt;strong&gt;designated areas&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;around the home including&amp;nbsp;bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;cleaning duties including&lt;strong&gt; dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;supporting with &lt;strong&gt;washing and drying laundry&lt;/strong&gt;, as required&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;reporting&lt;strong&gt; breakages&lt;/strong&gt;, damage, defects and hazards.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you haven’t worked in the care sector before, we’ll help you feel right at home from the start with our induction, buddy, and ongoing training programmes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Download our job description to read more:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;<a href="https://brochures.exemplarhc.com/view/1030640927/&quot;&gt;https://brochures.exemplarhc.com/view/1030640927/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About">https://brochures.exemplarhc.com/view/1030640927/&quot;&gt;https://brochures.ex…</a> you&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;&lt;p&gt;Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You’re also:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;a cook with a flair for creating delicious and nutritious meals for varied dietary requirements&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;creative in menu development and food preparation&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;passionate about high standards of cleanliness, with great housekeeping skills&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;an excellent team player&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;adaptable and flexible&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;You don’t need any specific qualifications to apply for this role, but a good standard of education, such as GCSEs in English and Maths, may be useful.
