&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Quality Improvement Manager - 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Position&lt;/strong&gt;: Quality Improvement Manager &amp;ndash; West Midlands&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Location&lt;/strong&gt;: Covering homes across West Midlands area (Tipton, Kings Heath, Tile Cross, Walsall)&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Contract type&lt;/strong&gt;:&amp;nbsp;40 hours per week, predominately Monday to Friday but must be flexible&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Rate&lt;/strong&gt;: &amp;pound;56,929 + &amp;pound;3,000 car allowance&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;We are looking for a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to support our Operations team. Every health care system is built on a complex network of care processes and pathways. The overall objective for the Operational Quality Improvement Managers is to act in a proactive manner to support services to provide and improve the highest stand of care via a systematic, coordinated and coaching approach and for these standards to be sustained.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;You will be responsible in supporting the Clinical Director to deliver the Exemplar Quality Strategy &amp;ndash; these themes include:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About the role&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;As an Operational Quality Improvement Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you&amp;rsquo;ll:&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;ul&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Work with the Operational team (Clinical Nurse Managers specifically) to offer support, coach and be action focused.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Be a link nurse for the company on one of the following specialisms (this role will also include the updating of policies relating to those specialisms and ensuring paperwork used throughout the organisation is relevant and current): 
&lt;ul&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Nutrition and Hydration (including dysphagia and diabetes)&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Tissue Viability&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Continence&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;End of life (to include verification of death)&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;/ul&gt; 
&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Follow an improvement strategy per service focusing on compliance and effectiveness of: 
&lt;ul&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Quality Assurance (to include clinical stats management, RCA and follow up)&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Care plans and risk assessments&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Action plan compliance&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;/ul&gt; 
&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Support CNMs to update action plans following an Internal Inspection or any external inspection.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Ensure specialist training analysis reviews are conducted monthly and support is given to ensure optimal compliance with specialist training.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Assist with the development of quality policies and procedures, quality tools, audit materials and Service User information materials.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Support the implementation of new initiatives to improve Service User quality of life.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About you&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Above all, you&amp;rsquo;re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Registered nurse, ideally with a nursing degree.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Evidence of further professional development in relation to care, management or quality.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Ideally a coaching qualification, able to coach and motivate others.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Strong background in action planning and Service User care focus.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Pragmatic in approach with strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to apply these in complex and challenging situations.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Able to work collaboratively across the business.&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;li&gt;Able to travel to all locations of the business.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; 
&lt;/ul&gt;
