We also provide separate supported living facilities, where service users can lead a more independent life.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As well as stable and secure employment opportunities, we offer great benefits and perks, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and progress.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About the role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;Our Catering Assistants make delicious and nourishing meals for people with a range of dietary requirements.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;assisting with basic &lt;strong&gt;food preparation&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;keeping the kitchen &lt;strong&gt;clean and tidy&lt;/strong&gt; including washing up, cleaning fridges, freezers and mopping floors&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;cleaning and sanitising all &lt;strong&gt;tableware&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;understanding&lt;/strong&gt; people’s needs, likes and choices to help the Chef develop suitable menus&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;interacting &lt;/strong&gt;with the people we support to get feedback on meals&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;complying&lt;/strong&gt; with food hygiene standards&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;being&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;a great team player, working as part of the wider Catering Team.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;You’ll put people at the heart of everything you do.
