Woodside Place has 33 bedrooms, each with an en-suite, across three units.
With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.
The home has communal dining and living spaces, sensory bathrooms, an activities hub, a therapy room, and a large accessible garden.
We offer a variety of accessible baths and showers for a range of mobility needs.

Coalport Bridge Unit
Has a primary dementia diagnosis, including early-onset dementia and alcohol related dementia, or Korsakoff’s syndrome
Presents with predominant complex mental health needs
Displays significant behaviours of concern, with high risk to self and others
Has severe cognitive impairment affecting memory and decision-making
May have a forensic background, and may still be subject to legal restrictions
Iron Bridge Unit
Has complex physical health needs that require a high level of nursing input, observation, and monitoring
May have a primary physical disability or neurological diagnosis, such as brain injury, presenting with predominant physical health needs
May require clinical interventions, including catheter and stoma care, central venous access management, enteral feeding, and advanced respiratory support (e.g. tracheostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, or mechanical ventilation)
Displays behaviours of concern
Requires close monitoring to manage complex and changing health needs
Requires care for clinical interventions such as catheters, Hickman lines, PEGs, stomas, tracheostomies, and ventilators

The home is on Woodside Avenue, close to the junction with the B4373/Castlefields Way.
There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available around the home.
