Located on Ash Grove in South Elmsall, Bennett Court has 30 bedrooms across three small, purpose-built units, creating a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.
The service also offers apartment-style living for nine adults in Buttercup House, a separate building offering a smaller community environment.

With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.
The home has communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, a therapy kitchen and a large accessible garden.
The service also offers apartment-style living for nine adults in Buttercup House, a separate building offering a smaller community environment.

Has complex mental health needs arising from a mental health or neurological diagnosis
Displays behaviours of concern
Is older working age (typically 45+)
May have co-occurring physical health needs and/or require clinical interventions such as catheters and PEGs
Enjoys a sociable and active living environment
Poppy Unit
Is in the advanced stage of a neurological condition such as Huntington’s disease or Parkinson’s
Has co-occurring physical health needs such as dysphagia, incontinence, reduced mobility, obesity, respiratory difficulties, and pressure ulcers
May require care for clinical interventions such as catheters, PEGs, and tracheostomies
Is at high risk of falls
Has limited mobility, requiring regular repositioning, skin integrity checks, and ongoing monitoring
Lily Unit
Has a primary dementia diagnosis, now in the advanced stage
Has multiple mental and/or physical health co-morbidities
Has severe cognitive impairment and communication difficulties, making them more vulnerable
Has limited mobility and/or physical disabilities, requiring specialist aids and equipment
Requires palliative or end-of-life care, now or in the future
Buttercup House
Buttercup House is a separate building offering a smaller community environment.
It has nine bedrooms within four two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom apartment, each with an en-suite wet room, kitchen/diner, and living area.
Residents also enjoy a communal kitchen, activities hub and accessible garden, promoting independence with on-site nursing support.

Bennett Court is a short drive from the A1 and other major roads including the A368 Doncaster Road and A628 Barnsley Road.
If you're travelling south on the A1, take the Redhouse Interchange Junction.
If you're travelling north on the A1, take junction 38 to Wakefield A638.
Bennett Court is on the corner of Ash Grove and Minsthorpe Lane, opposite Minsthorpe Community College and Minsthorpe Sports & Fitness.
There are limited parking spaces in the home's car park. Street parking is available along Ash Grove.
