Edgewater celebrate with a Brazilian carnival
The samba beat of Rio De Janeiro found its way to Wallasey as Edgewater hosted a Brazilian carnival party for colleagues and residents.
Carl Morgan, Activities Co-ordinator, said “The Brazilian carnival was a lovely chance for some of our newer residents to enjoy a party together and start building friendships.
“This event also allowed our residents to experience another culture and feel part of one of the biggest dates in the Brazilian calendar!”
World Book Day at Ribble View
The team at Ribble View got resourceful and made their very own Little Miss and Mr Men costumes for World Book Day. We’re challenging them to make a Mr and Mrs Exemplar next year!
A therapeutic visit from farm animals
Bennett Court welcomed The Purple Pig Company that provides educational and therapeutic farm animal visits to care homes.
The team at Bennett Court welcomed lambs, ducklings, chicks, an angora fluffy white rabbit and Storm the hedgehog to the home.
The visit certainly put smiles on everyone’s faces!
