Thank you to our Nurses!

We're celebrating Nurses that truly make a difference

International Nurses' Day offers the perfect opportunity to say thanks to our Nurses, and reflect on the impact they make.

Every day our Nurses support people to live their best lives, just like Leanne!

"From making me feel at ease at appointments to having fun and a laugh on holiday, Caitlin's always there to support me!"

From karaoke nights and West End shows to saying "yes" to her fiancé, Leanne’s story shows how the right care and support can open the door to confidence, connection, and love.

With support from the team at Quarryfields, Leanne has grown in confidence over the years allowing her to try new things, meet new people and build her independence.

Leanne's a proud member of the Service User Council, where she represents her peers by sharing feedback and contributing to company-wide projects.

“I’m proud to be a Service User Ambassador and to be involved in different projects. My favourite thing is being able to share my opinion and help others in my home. It feels great knowing that we can work together to improve things."

With support from the team at Quarryfields, she also attends DICE - a non-profit organisation that runs activities and events for disabled people - twice a week.

It was there her journey led her to finding her perfect match, her fiancé, Jacob.

“Without a Nurse present, I wouldn’t have been able to go on holiday.

Lesley volunteered and made sure I had an amazing time. She’s the best!”

"My Nurse, Donna, is so important to me. Every time I see her, she has a laugh and a joke - she just gets my sense of humour.

Donna was one of the reasons I was able to go on holiday. We had such a good time!"
