Has complex mental health needs arising from a mental health or neurological diagnosis, such as brain injury, dementia, Huntington’s disease, or schizophrenia
Requires a male-only environment
Is older working-age (typically 45+)
Displays behaviours of concern
Has co-occurring physical health needs such as diabetes, catheterisation, enteral feeding, or wounds
Has communication difficulties and may be nonspeaking, requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
Requires high levels of observation upon admission, reducing over time
Thrives in an active and sociable environment
Hopewell Unit
Has complex mental health needs arising from a mental health or neurological diagnosis, such as dementia
Is older age (typically 65+)
Displays behaviours of concern
May have low-level co-occurring physical health needs
May require care for lower-level clinical interventions such as catheters and PEGs
Has limited mobility, requiring regular repositioning and skin integrity checks

Marmaduke is a short drive from the M62/A63.
If you're travelling south on the M62, merge onto the A63 and follow toward the city centre. Take the exit towards 'Local Traffic Infirmary'.
From the roundabout, turn onto Hessle Road and turn right onto Marmaduke Street.
Marmaduke is situated at the end on your left.
There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available along Marmaduke Street.
