As people, and person-centred care, is at the heart of everything we do in care, every day is different. You’ll meet lots of different people, all with different needs and stories. This ensures there’s never a boring day.

Perhaps most importantly, there are lots of different career opportunities in care. Our Exemplar Health Care team includes Health Care Assistants, Nurses, Care Support Colleagues, Central Service Teams and Management Teams. This means the path for progression is endless!

The different roles at Exemplar Health Care

Each one of our teams play an important part in our mission to make every day better for the people we support.

Activities Coordinators

Our Activities Coordinators organise and run meaningful activities for our residents. This role may include supporting people to take up new hobbies or to meet their friends, as well as organising group events for all of the residents in the home.

This role would suit someone who’s fun, encouraging, enthusiastic and organised. You don’t need any formal qualifications for this role, just passion and drive to create engaging activities.

Health Care Assistants

Health Care Assistant support people with all aspects of their day-to-day lives. From helping someone to get ready on a morning to supporting someone on a day trip to the beach, you’ll be there to assist.

This role would suit someone who’s caring, compassionate and has a positive can do attitude. Some days may be a little challenging, and the ability to remain calm and communicate effectively is advantageous.

Registered Nurses

Our Nurses work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest standards of nursing care for our residents. Our homes have a range of nursing roles including Nursing Associates, Registered Nurses, Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers and Registered Home Managers.

To become a Nurse with us, you need to have a valid NMC PIN and a thorough understanding of nursing best practise. We’re also looking for Nurses who are caring, responsive and willing to learn.

Care Home Support Roles

To ensure the smooth running of our homes, we have expert support teams. Each home has a Catering, Housekeeping, Administration and Maintenance Team.

These roles would suit someone who’d like to use their skills to make a difference. You’ll be a part of our resident’s daily lives, so a caring, compassionate, positive outlook is also a must.

Central Service Roles

We have over 15 Central Service Teams. Members of each of these teams use their expertise to ensure the success of our organisation and care homes.

These roles would suit someone who has experience in their field, and would like to work in a rewarding setting. As with all of our roles, we’re looking for talented professionals who align with our values.
