Planning permission granted for a new specialist care home in Sunderland

We're pleased to announce our planning application to build a new care home in Sunderland, on Poole Road, has been granted.
Set to open in early 2023, the new care home ‘Hylton Grange’ will support adults living with a range of complex care needs arising from mental health conditions and neuro-disabilities including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease.
Our new 30-bed care home will be well-equipped with extensive infrastructure, including the latest technologies that focus on maximising independence and empowering people to live as fulfilled lives as possible.
The home will be surrounded by an easy-access sensory garden and include a communal hub, living and dining spaces for residents and their friends and family to socialise.
Construction is due to start this month by the construction firm, Walter Thompson, the contractor is also building Cheshire Springs, our latest care home in Ellesmere Port, which is set to open in Spring 2022.

We’re working with reputable pre-application Planning Advisors and Architects to ensure that the design of the building is in keeping with the local area, whilst also meeting the needs of the residents who will live in the home.
