Local commissioners visit our new complex needs care home

Following a £2.9 million investment, Cheshire Springs located near Ellesmere Port will support 20 adults living with complex needs.

Set to open in June 2022, Cheshire Springs will be our first care home in Cheshire West and Chester.

Last week we held an exclusive preview event for a number of local commissioners at our new complex needs care home, named Cheshire Springs.

Local commissioners were joined alongside Cheshire Spring’s Commissioning Home Director, Lindsay Abraham and Head of Care, Alison Lancaster, to answer any questions.

Guests were given a full tour of the new home and could sit down afterwards to enjoy a selection of pastries and sandwiches.

The home will support up to 20 adults and specialise in supporting people living with complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities, brain injuries, spinal injuries and complex dementia.

“Every one of our care homes provides supportive, welcoming, community-based services which help individuals reach their goals.”

Lindsay Abraham said: “I’m delighted to be opening Cheshire Springs and providing over 100 jobs to the local community. We’re looking forward to working with the Ellesmere Port community and building our team to provide our residents with the very best care.

“Every one of our care homes provides supportive, welcoming, community-based services which help individuals reach their goals. Our aim at Cheshire Springs is to help our residents with everyday living skills and empower them to live as fulfilled and independent lives as possible. With excellent career development, this will be a unique opportunity to be part of a new team where you can make a difference and every day better for our residents.”
