Contract type: 40 hours
Rate: £57,450 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company as our new Senior Finance Manager – Sales in Sheffield.
This isn’t just a finance role, it’s a key position where your expertise will contribute to our ability to provide outstanding care.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing costings for new business and articulating these to funders.
You’ll report on key sales information by working closely with the Business Development Team and negotiate with funders for changes in fees due to care need changes.

About the role
As a Senior Finance Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll will work alongside the current Senior Finance Manager and report to the Director of Commercial Finance.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
assisting the Sales Ledger Team with debt over 90 days, liaising with Local Authorities and ICB’s to secure payments
helping Home Managers with any withdrawal/change of funding
checking contractual documentation is accurate prior to legal sign off/admission
ensuring reassessments are completed and costed correctly, obtaining relevant approval for implementation, liaising with Home Managers/funders to resolve any queries
creating costings for new referrals to certify that they meet the current acuity and are commercially viable
conducting Teams meetings with funders/referrers to articulate and explain costing model and assessment
completing funder specific documentation required for panels
preparing costing models for individual home initiatives
reporting on results of specific pricing initiatives.

About you
Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.
You’ll also have:
at least five years experience in a finance role
excellent standard of excel use
great standard using PowerBI
experience working with Local authority and Health funding authority - this is desired but not essential.
