Position: Marketing and Events Officer
Location: Exemplar Health Care Support Centre, 17 Europa View, Sheffield, S9 1XH / home-based 
Contract type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £30,000 dependent on experience

As a Marketing and Events Officer with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll work across our Marketing and Recruitment Teams to support a range of marketing activities to promote our job vacancies.

You’ll coordinate and support activities such as:

  • digital and printed marketing collateral

  • recruitment open days

  • local and national careers events

  • offline recruitment advertising such as billboard, bus and radio advertising

  • blogs, case studies and content to support recruitment.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to use your marketing, event organisation and communication skills to make a real difference! 

The role is varied, but as a general guide your responsibilities will be to: 

  • identify the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching our audience

  • advise on, source and work with external agencies to promote key roles through offline advertising such as billboard, bus and radio advertising, working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate integrated campaigns

  • work as part of the Marketing Team to uphold our brand and promote us as an employer of choice

  • coordinate and facilitate recruitment open days in our care homes

  • support and plan attendance at local and national careers events

  • work with our in-house Designer to produce, maintain and update our digital and printed marketing collateral for recruitment.

 

About you

Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, able to work in line with company writing style and brand guidelines

  • the ability to create impactful and persuasive advertisements and copy

  • the ability to communicate in a clear manner both verbally and in writing, for a range of audiences

  • experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns, utilising a range of online and offline marketing channels

  • a creative eye for developing engaging content and collateral for a range of marketing channels

  • experience updating website content via a CMS (we use Drupal)

  • a proactive attitude to developing and sharing engaging and high performing content on social media

  • the ability to write to tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload

  • experience working with external agencies.  

 

You’ll need to be comfortable with travel, typically up to six days per month, and ideally live within travelling distance of our head office in Sheffield, where we’d like you to attend at least once every three-four weeks. The rest of the week can be home-based.
