This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Department and play a key role in delivering IT support across our rapidly growing organisation.

About the role

Exemplar Health Care is looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated 2nd Line IT Technician with excellent communication skills to join our IT Service Desk team. To apply for the position, you must have at least 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years working in a 2nd line support role. You will be expected to take ownership of problems and incidents escalated from 1st line, perform technical diagnoses, and strive to achieve resolutions either remotely or on-site. This is a full-time position based mainly at our Support Centre in Sheffield. Occasional travel to multiple offices on an ad-hoc basis will be required. There is also the potential to be part of an out-of-hours on-call rota.

 About you

You’ll also have:

  • iOS / iPad experience to a high level

  • Intune MDM administration to a high level

  • Office 365 administration to a high level

  • Mac OS experience

  • Barracuda Cloud email security

  • Draytek Firewalls, Switches & AP’s (administration & config)

  • Supporting Windows 11

  • Networking technologies  TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, DHCP

 Desirable systems experience:

  • SolarWinds Service Desk

  • Sophos

  • Datto

  • Manage Engine- Exchange Plus and AD Manager Plus

  • SolarWinds Web Help Desk

  • Veeam (Backups)

Qualifications

  • GCSE’S at Grade C or above in English & Mathematics or equivalent

  • Industry Standard computing qualifications such as Microsoft and CompTIA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Server+ or other certification

  • ITIL Foundation Qualification (desirable).
