Location: 17 Europa View, Sheffield, S9 1XH
Contract type: Permanent, full time  
Rate: £26,500 per annum 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Department where you’ll play a crucial role in providing IT support across our rapidly growing organisation.

As an IT Service Desk Analyst with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll work alongside a second IT Service Desk Analyst to answer support calls and create tickets from both remote and on-site locations. You’ll be responsible for completing the majority of 1st line support queries.

About the role

This role will play a major part in ensuring the smooth running of the IT infrastructure across the business and no two days will be the same.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • answering all initial IT support calls

  • completing 1st line support tickets

  • managing the Service Desk platform

  • prioritising and escalating tickets

  • assisting with new starters and hardware

  • assisting with mobile estate

  • managing IT communications

     

About you

Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

You’ll also have:

  • proven 1st line Service Desk support (2 years)

  • experience with Windows, Microsoft office and Microsoft 365

  • excellent customer service skills

  • knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2016, 2019)

  • strong work ethic and self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure

  • ability to lift moderate weights such as computer display units.

Desirable systems experience:

  • networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, DHCP

  • Microsoft Exchange

  • active Directory, Group Policy

  • VMware

  • iOS / iPad

  • solarWinds Web Help Desk

  • Sophos

 

Qualifications

  • GCSE’S at Grade C or above in English & Mathematics or equivalent

  • Industry Standard computing qualifications such as Microsoft and CompTIA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Server+ or other certification

  • ITIL Foundation Qualification (desirable).
