This is an extremely rewarding role where you’ll play a huge part in making every day better for adults living with complex needs.

The people we support are individuals - and we embrace that - so every day will be different.

Please note, this role is field-based with daily travel and therefore, does not involve home working.

About Exemplar Health Care

Exemplar Health Care is one of the country’s leading nursing care providers for adults living with complex needs.

We have over 55 care homes across England that support adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

As well as stable and secure employment opportunities, we offer great benefits and perks, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and progress.

About the role

The Clinical eMAR Systems Trainer will be responsible for supporting nursing colleagues, of varying digital literacy levels, in building confidence and competence in using digital medication platforms

The main part of your role will be to deliver six-hour super user training programmes for all Clinical Nurse Managers, via regional cohorts and additional ‘mop up’ sessions, to equip them with in-depth system knowledge and troubleshooting skills

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • observing Clinical Nurse Managers deliver a four-hour eMAR training session to their respective nursing teams, providing support, coaching, and feedback to ensure high-quality delivery

  • supporting the Head of Nursing in developing training materials, including guides, presentations, and eLearning resources, tailored to our workflows and CQC compliance requirements

  • monitoring system usage and collating user feedback to identify ongoing training needs.

About you

  • is passionate about making technology accessible and understandable for everyone

  • communicates clearly and patiently, making complex digital medication systems easy to grasp for users with a wide range of digital skills

  • has a strong understanding of clinical workflows - particularly around prescribing, dispensing, and administering medication - and can see how digital tools fit into the bigger picture

  • remains calm under pressure, responding to queries and technical issues with clarity and professionalism

  • adapts your approach to suit different audiences, whether you're supporting clinicians, pharmacy staff, or administrative teams

  • keeps a close eye on how systems are being used and listens to user feedback to ensure training continues to meet real-world needs

  • stays informed and proactive, keeping training materials current in line with system updates and improvements.
