Laurel Place has 32 large bedrooms and six single-occupancy apartments, each with an en-suite, across three units.
With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.
The home has communal dining and living spaces, a beauty salon, sensory room, therapy room, and visitor's suite.
At the heart of the home, is a large communal hub with an adapted kitchen and accessible garden spaces.
Laurel Place is near local amenities and transport links, helping people stay connected to the community.

Stanhope Unit
Has a primary dementia diagnosis, now in the advanced stage with severe cognitive impairment and deteriorating health
Is an older aged adult
Presents with predominant mental health and behavioural needs
Displays behaviours of concern
May have co-occurring physical health needs, requiring an integrated approach, including bladder and/or bowel conditions
May have dysphagia and/or require a modified diet
May have limited mobility, requiring regular repositioning, skin integrity checks, and ongoing monitoring
Requires palliative or end-of-life care, now or in the near future
May have experienced one or more failed placements
Requires care focused on maintaining comfort, encouraging engagement, and adapting support as condition progresses
Apartments: there are also three single-occupancy apartments on this floor, suitable for people living with dementia who require a more individualised environment due to sensory needs, distress, or risks associated with shared living.
Witton Unit (male-only unit)
Has a primary mental health or neurological diagnosis and presents with predominant mental health and behavioural needs
Requires a male-only environment
Is working age, typically 40+
Displays behaviours of concern, requiring proactive risk management and therapeutic support
May be at risk of relapse, requiring nurse-led care to avoid readmission to hospital
May have experienced a prolonged hospital stay and/or one or more failed placements
Requires care focused on progression, occupational engagement, and community integration
Thrives in an active and sociable environment
Where possible, requires slow-stream rehabilitation and/or
Apartments: there are also three single-occupancy apartments on this floor, which can be used as step-down or step-up placements.
These are ideal for people who may not be suited to group living, or for those looking to develop their independent living skills as part of their journey towards less restrictive, lower-acuity settings.

There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available on Watling Road and Gudmunsen Avenue.
