About us

Making every day better for adults living with complex needs is our passion. It has been for over 25 years.

As the NHS reports an ageing population with increasingly complex healthcare needs, our care services are needed now more than ever.

Established in 1999, our 50+ care homes ensure people get the care they need, the first time round, in a community-based home that’s close to their loved ones.

Through our values of fun, integrity, success, responsiveness and teamwork, we’re proud of the outcomes we enable people to achieve.

What we do

We manage over 50 complex care services across England ...

  • Supporting over 1000 people

  • Working closely with over 80% of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and local authorities in England

  • Opening 3 new care homes in 2025

We support those whose needs are consider ‘too complex’ for mainstream care providers ...

  • Providing community-based, supportive homes for those who’d often be in a hospital or higher acuity setting if not placed with us

  • Caring for over 50 diagnoses including brain injuries, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities

  • Supporting people who have a number of secondary diagnoses, complexities and risks including:

    • behaviours of concern

    • prolonged disorders of consciousness

    • tracheostomies

    • ventilators

    • PEG feeding tubes

  • Achieving positive outcomes and a reduction in behaviours of concern within the first 12 weeks for many of the people we support

  • Ending the cycle of failed placements through highly trained Nurse-led teams, higher than average staffing levels and a holistic approach to care

We put people at the heart of everything we do ...

  • Ensuring the right placement from the start through a robust clinical needs and ‘community fit’ assessment

  • Providing high staffing levels based on individual need, to build trust and achieve longer-term, person-centred outcomes

  • Encouraging co-production through our Service User Ambassador initiative

We’re the proud employer of over 5000 colleagues ...

  • Recruiting people who match our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork

  • Giving people the best start to their career with us through our robust induction, including supernumerary time for Registered Nurses and preceptorship for newly qualified Nurses
