Residents and colleagues have enjoyed partying the day away to raise money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

The team at Dearnevale care home in Barnsley started the day with a bake sale, before dancing the afternoon away with live entertainment.

A singer from Goldstar Entertainments performed well-known songs such as It’s Not Unusual, Delilah and Release Me.

Residents at Woolston House care home in Woolston, Warrington spent the morning baking a red velvet cake and themed cupcakes, before selling them in the afternoon.

They're continuing to raise funds for Comic Relief with events throughout the week, such as a quiz night on Wednesday.

Colleagues at Hillside Court in Leeds and Otterburn in Birmingham spent the day in pyjamas to fundraise for Comic Relief.

Comic Relief supports projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.

On celebration and awareness days, there’s always a party being hosted across our complex needs care homes. Our awareness days calendar provides a range of events for residents and Activities Teams to come together and plan for across the year.
