Quarryfields’ residents saddle up at their local riding school

Service user grooming horse

Quarryfields residents, Leanne and Sarah, recently spent the afternoon at Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Rossington, where they both enjoyed a day of feeding, grooming and stroking the horses at the yard.

One of Sarah’s favourite things to do is to go and look at horses in the local fields.

So she was thrilled to get up and close with horses, Daisy and Pocket, who’s a cheeky chappie and fond of giving kisses.

Leanne enjoyed a riding lesson on a return visit to the riding school and can't wait to go again.

RDA Rossington is based at the National Horseracing College at Rossington Hall, which is set in countryside grounds including woodland.

The group offers riding experiences for disabled people, giving them a wonderful experience to reach their full potential.

The riding school has a wheelchair lift and an indoor arena so everybody can stay dry and enjoy their visit.
