Susan Marshall is a Non-Executive Director at Exemplar Health Care, bringing extensive health and social care experience spanning nursing, operational leadership, quality governance, and regulation.
She supports the Executive Team in decisions that help ensure high-quality care and services.

Susan joined Exemplar Health Care in July 2021 and is Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee, a sub-committee of the Board.
She has a particular interest in healthcare quality improvement and the service user experience.
Experience
Susan began her career as a Nurse in the NHS before moving into the independent sector.
She has held senior roles at Care UK, including Project Manager involved in commissioning an independent sector treatment centre and Quality Governance Director.
At Nuffield Health, her roles included Hospital Manager and group Head of Patient Quality.
Most recently, Susan worked as a Consultant, providing regulatory and quality governance support to a range of organisations.
