Holistic care in a community-based home

Each of our homes has a skilled in-house team of Nurses, Support Workers and Life Skills/Activities Coordinators, as well as access to in-house Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, a Consultant Psychiatrist and our Mental Health and Behaviour Support Team, which enables people to access holistic care in a community-based home that’s closer to their friends and family.

Over 60% of our residents come to our homes following a failed placement. We adapt our approach to each individual which brings an end to this cycle.

Alongside many of our homes, we also have OneCare services that support people to live in a community-based house, whilst accessing 24/7 support from a dedicated Care Team, to support their journey to independent living.

Commitment to quality

Over 95% of our homes are rated ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, and we have a dedicated in-house Quality and Compliance Team to ensure quality and drive continuous improvement.

Service user engagement

We listen to our service users and involve them in decisions that impact their life and the running of our homes. Residents can become a Service User Ambassador and take part in our Service User Council, as well as having regular opportunities to get involved and feedback.

Small group living

Most of our homes have between 20-30 residents, and are designed into 10-bedded units, which promotes small group living. We’ve found that this approach provides a welcoming and supportive environment, which is more responsive to people’s needs.

High-quality staff

Our workforce is our biggest asset, which is why we invest in them. We take a values-based approach to recruitment, and we have a strong learning and development culture from induction to CPD, as well as a robust health and wellbeing programme.
