Quality assurance is an integral part of our company. Our ‘Exemplar Quality Assurance’ framework provides our own set of checks and balances, across a range of topics including care planning, medication, staffing and training, nutrition and health and safety. This is supported by ‘live time’ reporting which enables us to target early support and intervention if needed.
The framework promotes involving, listening and learning from our service users, and placing their ideas and experiences at the very heart of our quality assurance approach.
We don’t rely solely on audits to show us the level of compliance in each care home – our systems have a number of observational measures and meetings built in, bringing those who live and work in our homes together, to identify how we can make every day better, for everyone.
Service user engagement
We listen to our service users and involve them in decisions that impact their life and the running of our homes. Residents can become a Service User Ambassador and take part in our Service User Council, as well as having regular opportunities to get involved and feedback via resident meetings, care plan reviews and surveys.

We invest in our colleagues to ensure that they are confident and competent to provide high-quality care, that’s in line with the latest best practice.
