Palliative Care & End of Life Care

Comfort, dignity and support at this difficult time

We know this is a difficult subject and a difficult time. We understand your desire to do the very best for your loved one. When it’s not possible for an individual to stay at home or in a hospital, we make the transition to our ongoing care as comfortable and dignified as possible.

We know how important family is at this time, so we welcome your input into all of the care planning. We also know how important it is to follow the individuals wishes. All these factors have shaped our palliative and end of life care.

Our staff will handle the admission as seamlessly as possible, and are trained to provide a high level of care at this difficult time. We follow the Gold Standard framework of care for the end of life pathway. Your loved ones will have the full support of general practitioners, local palliative teams, MacMillan nurses and many more.
