Welcome to Pathways
A nurse-led care home, Pathways provides care and support for adults with learning disabilities and physical health needs.
Located in Sutton-in-Ashfield, the purpose built bungalow is part of the community, encouraging service users to engage with their local environment.
The eight-bedroom bungalow has a lounge, activity room and a large kitchen / diner with Wifi throughout.
Bedrooms are decorated to suit personal tastes, with TV and telephone points available. Each bedroom also has an accessible ensuite wet room.
Service users are encouraged to spend time together, and often eat together as a family. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time, and be involved in care planning and reviews. We want those we look after to receive the best possible quality of life.
Life at Pathways
Activity coordinators and service users at Pathways, work together to create meaningful and fun plans. We believe social activities and leisure interests encourage a health and balanced lifestyle. Access to education is facilitated by staff, through ASDAN qualifications.
Regular trips to the coast, local zoo Matlock are made possible using the private, accessible minibus. Close links with St Joseph's club gives service users the opportunity to attend regular social events and parties.
Pathways also has a large garden area, featuring swings, a trampoline and raised beds to grow vegetables and flowers.
