Welcome to Pathways

Pathways nursing home in Sutton-in-Ashfield provides care for adults living with learning disabilities and autism. The specialist home operates within the positive behaviour support framework to provide individualised high quality nursing and personal care and support to individuals to maintain and develop their functional skills.

 

Our home

A homely and welcoming eight-bedroom bungalow, service users are encouraged to decorate their spacious bedrooms to suit their individual tastes and there are TV points in all rooms. Every bedroom has an accessible ensuite wet room. There is a lounge, an activity room and a large kitchen diner, with WiFi available throughout the home.

At Pathways, we understand the importance of good, nutritious food. Service users can eat together family-style, with a varied and interesting menu  available to everyone, taking into account personal preferences, condition-specific and religious dietary requirements.

Life at Pathways

Social activities, leisure interests and hobbies are all part of a healthy, balanced life. The Pathways team support service users to make choices about how they live their lives, their hobbies and  interests and where appropriate, access to education. The main aim at Pathways is to make our environment a ‘home from home’, with opportunities to be part of the local community.

A large garden includes swings and a trampoline, raised vegetable and flower beds with patio areas for sitting and relaxing.
