Welcome to Lakeview
At Lakeview, we build our care and activity plans around individuals, supporting, nurturing and encouraging them to live happy, fulfilled lives. We embrace a person centred care philosophy so we can meet individualised care needs. Making every day better is about achieving the best possible outcomes for those we care for. We work closely with individuals, families and other health care professionals.
On each floor there is a beautiful, spacious lounge and an open plan dining room with coffee area, available to all service users, families and friends. Landscaped gardens are accessible for all and further outside space is available on the first floor where a large glass-walled balcony provides tranquil views out over the lake, perfect for relaxing during the warmer months.
At Lakeview, we understand the importance of good, nutritious food and encourage service users to practice their culinary skills and work with us to create varied menus, which suit individual dietary and lifestyle requirements.

Life at Lakeview
A multi-disciplinary team, including a psychiatrist and psychologist, supports service users and works closely with consultants, GP’s, allied health professionals, specialist nurses and mental health teams in the community to ensure service users receive the best quality of care. Regular service user forums allow people to share their views and develop ideas for future activities.
Social activities, leisure interests and hobbies make up a healthy, balanced life. At Lakeview we support service users to achieve their individual goals and to make choices about how they live their lives, their hobbies and interests and where appropriate, access to education and volunteering. We ensure the Lakeview team, families and most importantly, service users are all working together to achieve them.
Lakeview also features an additional community space for activities and entertaining, separate to the main home. The Hub, complete with a small kitchen area, can be used by service users, relatives and family for socialising, parties and events. The Hub is also open to healthcare professionals and community groups as a free meeting space for monthly or annual meetings, fundraising events, coffee mornings, clinic support groups, coffee mornings and training.
Individuals can also attend with their friends, family and support workers for a change of environment, the chance to socialise with others and to form new friendships. To book The Hub simply fill in a booking form at www.exemplarhc.com/lakeview and the Lakeview Administrator will contact you to confirm the details. Hot and cold drinks will be provided for meetings and events.
