Exemplar Health Care’s ABC of Caring training programme has been certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to continuing professional development principles. This is the second of the company’s in-house training programmes to achieve the accreditation.
We know that our colleagues are what make us the outstanding provider that we are, which is why we invest in them.
Exemplar Health Care offers a range of in-house and external learning and development opportunities, which support colleagues at all levels and in all roles to develop and progress in their career. This ensure that they have the competence and confidence to deliver the highest standards of care for our residents.
The ABC of Caring programme is for Support Workers and Activities Coordinators who want to enhance their skills, knowledge and behaviours – it covers the essential skills needed to develop and progress in their career.
We’re proud to announce that, following a rigorous accreditation process, the programme has been given the sought-after certification by the CPD Certification Service.
This is the second of the company’s in-house training programmes to achieve the accreditation, alongside the Leadership and Management Programme which achieved accreditation in November 2020.
Claire Fretwell, Head of Learning, Development and Talent at Exemplar Health Care says:
“We are delighted that our ABC of Caring programme has been accredited by the CPD Certification Service.
"We know that many of our care colleagues want the opportunity to develop in their role, and this training programme provides that opportunity.
"The ABC of Caring programme now joins our Leadership and Management Programme as being certificated by the CPD Certification Service.
"This means that we can be confident that we are offering high-quality training that meets the required Continuing Professional Development standards and benchmarks.”
