St Andrew's court

Our new care home in Hull, St Andrew’s Court is creating more than 50 jobs across a range of roles over the next 12 months. Opening this Autumn, with work well underway to prepare for residents’ arrival in just over a couple of months, the home will have 20 specifically designed bedrooms for its residents.

The home is currently undergoing refurbishment, as we adapt the building from a 34-bed elderly care home to meet the requirements of new residents. As well as having the right setting for our residents, we’re building a team to make every day special and are recruiting healthcare professionals and domestic staff.

The home will provide specialist nursing care for adults with a range of complex nursing needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, brain injury, stroke and neuro-disabilities. Available roles include home manager, nurses, domestic staff and a skills facilitator and we’re encouraging local residents to apply for the roles via our Careers page.

We’re also thrilled to reveal that following our acquisition of the home, we’ve employed 13 colleagues who were originally employed by the building’s former owners, Sanctuary Care. The 13 individuals have been successful in obtaining roles within care support, administration, catering and domestic teams.
