Exemplar to host healthcare leadership and organisational change learning event in Wakefield

Led by Exemplar’s Head of Service Development Andrew Frankel-Caine and Human Resources Change Lead Natalie Grosvenor, the CPD accredited event will be held at Unity Hall in Wakefield on Wednesday 23 January and will aim to share expertise on clinical leadership and developing effective teams within a health care setting.

The free ticketed afternoon, which runs from 12:15pm – 3pm, is ideal for health and social care commissioners, NHS and independent health care professionals, as well as clinical and non-clinical care home colleagues who want to broaden their knowledge on clinical leadership and managing organisational change within health care.

The seminar comes ahead of the opening of Exemplar’s new specialist nursing-led care home in Castleford, Kingfisher View. Opening in Spring 2019, the new home will provide specialist care for 12 younger adults living with complex needs.

By attending the afternoon, delegates will obtain CPD points to support their professional development. Registration will be accompanied with lunch at 12:15 and the workshops will begin at 1pm and will finish at 3pm.

Exemplar Health Care have 26 specialist care homes across the Yorkshire and Humber, North West, East and West Midlands and care for those living with very complex nursing needs. Kingfisher View will join Fairburn Mews and Fairburn Vale on Wheldon Road.
