Longley Park View, open day

Over the last 18 months, Longley Park View has been transformed in every way.

With a £1m investment in staff, a full refurbishment and a new focus on meeting the needs of individuals living with challenging behaviour, Longley Park View is providing effective high-quality care for people with very complex needs.

Refurbishment works at the home are nearing completion, with an inviting coffee shop area – the new heart of the home – soon set to provide a welcoming and enjoyable space for servicer users and visitors.

Health and social care professionals, commissioners, case managers and everyone interested in good specialist care are invited to the official re-launch of Longley Park View on Wednesday 2 May from 1:30pm.

The Open Day will give attendees the opportunity to see the changes and gain a meaningful understanding of the services provided throughout the nurse-led home.  In fact, we’re so committed to improving things for our service users, we’ve created more space for living and socialising by reducing the number of beds in the newly refurbished units by eight.

Longley Park View has been transformed in every way:

  • Four refurbished units – Hillsborough, Meadows, Concord and Ecclesfield
  • Four new lounges
  • 1000 hours of specialist training
  • A new coffee shop staffed by volunteers

The Longley Park View team will be on hand provide a tour of the home and enjoy a chat over a cup of coffee.

Register your free attendance at the Longley Park View open day on Wednesday 2 May.
