Parkside’s summer fete hits the papers

Parkside’s annual summer fete on the 13th August attracted the attention of the local media.

Express & Star wrote a piece about the event which you can see here.

The theme of the fete was the Great British Seaside with a variety of seaside inspired stalls like the fish and chip stand where guest could be served by Parkside’s resident mermaid to a mini beach.

Councillor Barbara Price, Mayor of Sandwell said the event was a good way to promote mental health awareness and the specialist care required for services ensure the provision of long term successful placement to enhance the lives of the people in you care.

“I’ve got say they are very well looked after I’ve been talking to some of the residents and they are very happy here. That is something to be proud of.”
